The payload names no files, so begin by finding where the launcher draws app folders on the home screen and how their data is stored. Check how an existing folder setting persists before adding per-folder transparency and colour. Done means a user can set both for a folder, the choice survives a restart, and the folder still renders correctly over wallpapers. The open questions are the UI for picking colour and the transparency range, so confirm them with the maintainers first.
