Línea de trabajo
The issue names no files or entry points. Start by searching the repository for where space key presses are handled in the keyboard input code, and for the settings screen where toggles live. Done means an option that, when enabled, turns two quick space taps into a period followed by a space. The issue has three comments and no linked pull request, so check the thread for a preferred design before writing code.

Feature description
It would be nice to have an option where tapping space twice inserted a period followed by a space.
Why do you want this feature?
It is reasonably common in other keyboards I've used and is quite handy to be able to type quickly.
