Línea de trabajo

Read CONTRIBUTING.md for the repository checks, then inspect Bundle::from_json, its XDR decoding, tests/tamper.rs, and the mainnet fixture. Add a fuzz/ crate with a bundle_from_json target that verifies successfully parsed bundles against the public trust set, and seed its corpus with the fixture. Done means cargo +nightly fuzz run bundle_from_json runs for ten minutes without a crash, or the PR fixes any crash it finds; avoid introducing library panics or unwraps.

Descripción

area/core complexity:medium Stellar Wave test
Context

Bundle::from_json and the XDR decoding behind it take untrusted input from any RPC or exnode. The property test in tests/tamper.rs mutates a valid bundle; a fuzzer would also explore malformed structure.

Scope
  • Add a fuzz/ crate with a bundle_from_json target that parses and, when parsing succeeds, verifies against the public trust set.
  • Seed the corpus with the mainnet fixture.
  • Document how to run it in CONTRIBUTING.md; a CI job is optional (nightly).
Done when
  • cargo +nightly fuzz run bundle_from_json runs for ten minutes without a crash, or the PR fixes what it finds.
  • No unwrap or panic is introduced in library code.
