Begin at the agent registration points named (known agents, startup, AppHost agents list, provider default). Implement Pleb with prompt assembly from topic index and changed paths, plus SetTopicQueries and KeepQueries tools with validation. Add an in-process gate and wire runs to the run tracker and Topics page. Done when acceptance criteria pass with unit tests using a substituted AIAgent.

What to build

A new local-model agent, the Pleb, works through the curation queue and gives each topic a short de-identified brief and up to three search queries, or keeps the current ones when nothing relevant changed. The author sees the brief and queries on the Topics page.

Acceptance criteria

  • Pleb registered everywhere an agent needs to be (known agents, startup, AppHost agents list, provider default OpenAICompatible, instruction template), with thinking disabled and no wiki rules
  • No read tools: code assembles the prompt (topic index page truncated, changed paths with first headings, current brief and queries), failing clearly if over the configured budget
  • Tools SetTopicQueries(topic, brief, queries) and KeepQueries(topic); validation rejects more than three queries, over-long text and any denied name in queries or brief, with errors explicit enough to correct
  • A single in-process gate (configurable concurrency, default 1) wraps model runs; the queue drains at most N per cycle; drain is skipped while the model server is unhealthy
  • Runs go through the run tracker and show on the Runs page; failed curations move to a failed folder
  • Topics page shows brief, queries and last curation
  • Unit tests with a substituted AIAgent and store cover validation, keep, failure and gating
