Summary

When a user enrolls with the Android app, the app only registers the device. It never asks them to set a password or set up MFA, and it never completes enrollment on the server. As a result:

  • The user can't connect to any location that requires MFA, because they have no MFA method and the app gives them no way to add one.
  • The user stays "Pending" in the admin users list.

The only workaround is for someone to log in to the web UI as the user and enable MFA there, and for the admin to clear the "Pending" status in the database.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Create a location that requires MFA.
  2. In the admin panel, start enrollment for a new user.
  3. The user adds the instance in the Android app with the enrollment token.
  4. The user tries to connect to the MFA location.
Expected behavior

The app takes unenrolled users through the rest of enrollment (password, MFA setup if a location requires it, activation), the same way the desktop client does. Afterwards the user can connect to MFA locations and shows as "Enrolled".

Actual behavior

The connection fails because the user has no MFA method configured. The user also stays "Pending" in the users list.
