Description
In the current channel map, the plane field corresponds to readout view ([0–2]), so collection channels from both APA sides are mapped to the same index.
For FD-HD, we need to distinguish the two sides of a double-sided APA.

This allows correct grouping per TPC volume in downstream processing.
