Objetivo
Añadir un aviso temporal claro en español e inglés sobre la ausencia de Authenticode en las notas de Quorb 0.1.1, antes de hacer público el repositorio. Es documentación, no implementación de la firma de código (#20).
Estado confirmado
- La release https://github.com/egdev6/quorb/releases/tag/v0.1.1 ya está publicada (
draft: false,prerelease: false); no queda un borrador que publicar. - El repositorio sigue privado; solo las cuentas con acceso pueden consultar la release y descargar sus archivos.
- La release contiene los instaladores EXE/MSI, sus dos firmas del updater y
latest.json. - Sus notas actuales ya mencionan brevemente que no existe Authenticode, pero no distinguen claramente esa firma de la del updater ni los avisos posibles.
No hace falta otra versión ni una nueva ejecución del workflow para actualizar solo la explicación. Los instaladores no se han descargado, ejecutado ni verificado durante esta investigación.

Descarga únicamente desde las releases oficiales de Quorb y verifica el origen antes de ejecutar el instalador. No desactives las protecciones de Windows para instalarlo.

⚠️ This installer is not yet Authenticode-signed for Windows. Windows may display “Unknown publisher” or a SmartScreen warning. The updater signature is separate and does not establish publisher identity in Windows. We are evaluating code signing for future releases (#20); it is not available yet. Download only from Quorb's official releases and verify the source before running the installer. Do not disable Windows security protections to install it.
Criterios de aceptación
- Sustituir los avisos breves actuales de ausencia de Authenticode por el texto ampliado en ambos idiomas, conservando el resto de las notas.
- Mantener tag, versión y archivos distribuidos sin cambios; no recompilar ni sustituir silenciosamente instaladores.
- Distinguir Authenticode de la firma del updater, sin prometer ausencia inmediata de SmartScreen ni afirmar que el aviso demuestra seguridad del binario.
- No recomendar desactivar controles de Windows ni describir como superadas las verificaciones nativas pendientes.
- Mantener coherente la fuente de notas del repositorio para futuras regeneraciones, mediante un cambio revisado separado.
- Confirmar por lectura posterior que ambos textos se aplicaron a la release.
- Al hacer público el repositorio, revisar los párrafos y pasos que describen acceso privado; validar el updater antes de prometer actualizaciones automáticas.
Alcance y duplicados
Búsqueda completada en issues abiertas y cerradas por avisos/Authenticode y notas de release. #20 trata la futura firma real; #13 es la preparación de release ya cerrada. Ninguna registra esta actualización documental concreta. No se ha modificado la release, ni el repositorio público/privado, ni certificados/secretos/workflows. El cambio de visibilidad y la solicitud a SignPath necesitan acciones separadas.
