Research direction

The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. Start by mapping the JavaScript source and current build configuration, then determine the migration scope and how TypeScript compiler checks would be introduced. Done means the project is migrated to TypeScript with compilation and type checking working.

Description

enhancement

Compile time type checking and other TS compiler features can help reduce silent issues. Moreover, migrating to TS can enable the usage of powerful tools like Tabris Decorators, enabling convenient and type-safe syntax for dependency injection and data binding for Tabris.js widgets.
