Research direction

Start by tracing how app data is transformed by the various services before reaching the UI, including the getSessionsInTimeframe example. Map the different data representations and service responsibilities. Done means the data flow uses a coherent object-oriented model and reduces services that only handle small technical operations.

Description

enhancement

Currently, the app data is transformed by various services before being applied on the UI. Several different kinds of data representation is used by those services and some services' scope is way too small and technical for them to exist on their own (e.g. getSessionsInTimeframe). This structure is hard to comprehend.

Using an object-oriented data model can improve the comprehensability of data flow and significantly reduce the number of used services.
