Research direction

Start by reviewing the issue discussion and the repository’s existing tags and release process; no specific files or tests are identified in the payload. Determine whether maintainers agree on a new version and what changes it should include. Done would mean a maintainer-approved release tag, but the issue has had no comment for over a year.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Hi,

I have noticed, that the last tag in this repository is from 2020.
Since then some changes and improvements have happend in the main/development branch.

Would it be possible to create a new tag in the near future?
Referring to a fixed tag is way better (and easier) to argument than just some "random commit ID".

I would really like to hear your opinion on this.

Kind regards.
