Research direction

Start at FixVariablesComposite and trace how the child sampler's info is handled after variables are dropped. Preserve the embedding context as well as timing information in the propagated info, then verify the behavior with the relevant existing composite tests; no specific file or test is named in the issue.

Description

bug

Adding this specifically for the FixVariablesComposite (in addition to the generally known issue of propagating info) because for this one, once variables are dropped, the embedding context becomes very helpful, not just the timing info.
