Research direction

Start by reviewing the reported reproduction steps for Ubuntu Gusty 7.10 and the desktop mount/unmount behavior. Investigate how the application handles encrypted folders, password prompts, and device paths. Done means the folder is encrypted, requires a password to open, and can be unmounted and decrypted without the reported error.

Description

auto-migrated Priority-Medium Type-Defect
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open conceal via system - Administration - Encrypted
2. Choose a folder, password + apply
3. The folder you tried to encrypt is not encrypted (or you don't notice),
no password is asked to open and it is mounted on the desktop ...
IMPOSSIBLE TO UNMOUNT IT. Nothing appears in the window of your software so
I guess it is not encrypted (no folders)

When I try to unmount the volume on the desktop it says: Error could not
determine the real path of the device: no such file or directory.

I installed the *.deb packages you provide on the site... I really want to
unmount and decrypt the 2 folders
