Research direction

Start in Model Builder's Consume step and reproduce the failure with a simple classification model created from a CSV. Compare console app generation with the Web API path that succeeds; done means generating the console app without the null-reference error.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

System Information (please complete the following information):

  • Model Builder Version (available in Manage Extensions dialog): 17.19.2.2511501
  • Visual Studio Version: 17.14

Describe the bug

  • Using the model builder I created a simple classification model using a CSV. The evaluation step works fine but on the Consume step when you try to generate a console app you get the following error.

However, adding a Web API project worked fine.
