Research direction
Start by inspecting src/Microsoft.ML.ModelBuilder/ViewModels/TrainViewModel.cs at line 688 and the surrounding StartTrainingAsync flow. Reproduce unattended binary-classification training with SQL Server as the datasource, then trace where the JSON-RPC connection is lost. Done means training completes without the reported connection error.
