Research direction

Start by reviewing TrustKit’s existing Xcode and Carthage build configuration and the current dynamic-framework scheme. Check the linked Carthage static-framework guidance and assess compatibility before adding a static-framework scheme. Done means the project can build a static framework without breaking the existing framework options.

Description

Since Xcode 9.4 and version 0.30.0 of Carthage static frameworks are supported. It would be great if TrustKit could provide a scheme which builds a static framework instead of a dynamic one. I'm not sure if there will be compatibility issues if TrustKit would completely switched over to static framework, if not, that would also be an option.
