Research direction

Start by reproducing the intermittent display problem with ucode claude, using the attached screenshot as the expected symptom. Trace the code responsible for rendering subagent messages and compare behavior before and after sending or receiving messages. Done means the <agent-message from=...> content no longer remains improperly displayed.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

When using ucode claude, we periodically encounter improperly displayed subagent messages. They generally go away after responding to a structured questionnaire, sending a new message, or receiving a new message, but sometimes they stick around for a bit. I haven't noticed a specific pattern that causes this to occur, but we've never encountered it with the "normal" claude cli setup using Anthropic subscriptions.
