Research direction

The payload names no files, so start by finding the Single Sat View and the List View in the source and reading how the existing satellite fields are displayed there. Add orbital period, catalogue number and decayed state to the single view, and catalogue number and decayed state to the list view. Done when all three values appear in the single view and the two in the list view. The period unit choice (minutes by default, optionally hours or days) is still open, so confirm it with a maintainer before building it.

Description

The Single Sat View in Gpredict is missing some important and useful information about the selected satellite:

  • orbital period
  • catalogue number (also in List View)
  • decayed state (also in List View)

The orbital period's basic units should be minutes, but there could be an additional option to set it to hours or even days.
