Research direction

Start by locating the element index's View menu and how its per-source choices are saved in local storage. Compare the current menu with the Craft 5 Default option; done means users can restore the source's default sort, columns, view mode and thumbnail size from the UI.

Description

bug repo:cms
What happened?
Steps to reproduce
  1. Open an element index and change its sort, columns, view mode or thumbnail size.
  2. Open View.
Expected behavior

A Default button (as in Craft 5) that restores the source's default sort, columns, view mode and thumbnail size.

Actual behavior

The menu only has Close. The saved choices (kept per source in local storage) can't be reset from the UI.
