Research direction

The issue does not name a changelog file, tests, or a release process. Start by locating the repository's changelog and reviewing recent changes; done should mean that changes, including potential breaking changes, are recorded consistently so users can understand what changed.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

The changelog isn't updated, so figuring out what has changed or breaks etc, is just trial and error. It'd be amazing if it could be updated when things are changed.
