Research direction

No repository files or tests are named in the issue. Start by reading the linked Temporal side-effect documentation and comparing the Temporal Go SDK behavior with the Ruby workflow API. Done means agreeing on the Ruby API and semantics for recording and invoking a side effect, then documenting and testing that behavior.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

In Temporal GO SDK, it is possible to add a ad-hoc activity,
sometimes it's annoying to create an activity with one single line.

I wonder if it is possible to do it in Temporal Ruby?
Something like

ret = workflow.side_effect do |len|
  SecureRandom.hex(len)
end
# or
se = workflow.build_side_effect do |len|
  SecureRandom.hex(len)
end

# use it as a function
se.call(32)
