Research direction
Review AgentKit's conventions alongside the AlphaPipeline repository, live MCP endpoint, and machine-readable spec. Determine whether the project should be documented as a community provider or integrated as a TypeScript or Python action provider, then confirm the preferred scope with maintainers. Done means the chosen integration path is agreed and its documentation or contribution is complete.

Description
What we built
AlphaPipeline — a live, pay-per-call x402 data API for AI trading agents on Base mainnet, settling real USDC via the official x402 SDK + Coinbase CDP Facilitator (not a testnet/demo).

How it works with AgentKit
Each action is exposed both as a plain REST endpoint (for any HTTP client) and as an MCP tool over the remote endpoint above, gated by the x402 payment middleware — an agent's x402-aware HTTP client (or AgentKit's own x402 support) pays per call in USDC on Base and gets the response in the same round trip. No API keys, no signup, no subscription.
Why contribute to the AgentKit ecosystem?
Trading/DeFi agents built with AgentKit currently have to stitch together several free-tier APIs (rate-limited, often stale) to get pre-trade security and market-structure signals. AlphaPipeline packages the ones we found ourselves needing most while building our own trading bot — contract risk, LP lock status, slippage/depth, funding rates, prediction-market arbitrage — behind a single, uniform, pay-as-you-go interface with no account/quota management.
Proposal
Open to whichever fits AgentKit's conventions best:
- List AlphaPipeline as a community action provider / example in the docs.
- We submit a PR adding an
AlphaPipelineActionProvider(TypeScript and/or Python) if that's the preferred integration path. - Simply link it from an ecosystem/community page if a full action-provider PR isn't the right fit.
Happy to adjust format, scope, or wording to match maintainer preference.
