Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating the screen-style leader-key handling and any existing configuration path, then determine whether changing the default or making it configurable fits the project. Done means the leader key no longer conflicts with Ctrl-A, the chosen behavior is documented, and relevant tests pass.

Description

I get it's the screen default

but ctrl-a is also the Emacs "start of line" key

and many shells and every MacOS text box allows for Emacs editing keys, and (for me at least) ctrl-a is very common

what do you think of changing it, or making it configurable ?

(I'd be happy to do a PR)
