Research direction

Start with the multirootca SQLite backend and commit c383f2add921c88a23f39d292a8336900bea5e44, then review the linked CFSSL pull-request discussion about CGO and go-sqlite3. Reproduce the Debian amd64 release 1.6.4 failure and verify that using the SQLite backend no longer produces the CGO-disabled stub error.

Description

Hi,

I'm using multicrootca with the sqlite backend. With the lastest release 1.6.4 on Debian amd64 I'm getting this error:

"Binary was compiled with 'CGO_ENABLED=0', go-sqlite3 requires cgo to work. This is a stub"

The issue seems to be related to c383f2add921c88a23f39d292a8336900bea5e44 and appears to be mentioned here: https://github.com/cloudflare/cfssl/pull/1259#issuecomment-1330946563

Would it be possible to look into that?

Thanks!
