Research direction

Start from the existing cfssl certinfo -domain entry point and compare its behavior with the provided openssl s_client -showcerts -connect example. Trace how the remote server certificate is retrieved, then verify that the command reports the presented certificate chain, not only the leaf certificate.

Description

Would it be possible to use cfssl to get a certificate chain presented by a remote server?

I was expecting it to be available when using certinfo (e.g. cfssl certinfo -domain example.com:443). The result I'm looking for is something that would mimic cat /dev/null | openssl s_client -showcerts -connect example.com:443, which returns:
