Research direction

Start by tracing how camera connectivity and protocols are represented in the dataset and displayed in the viewer, then inspect the Frigate and RTSP reference pages. The issue does not name files or tests, so first locate those entry points and check how existing facets and per-camera notes are handled. Done means coax cameras can be distinguished, carry the DVR/capture-card guidance, and are excluded from direct-stream references.

Description

enhancement

The dataset now carries 4-in-1 AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS cameras (Avtron, Urmet, Mapesen — modeled as connectivity: ["coax"], empty protocols, no configs). They currently blend in with IP cameras in the viewer.

Proposed:

  • an IP-vs-analog facet/filter so users can separate network cameras from coax,
  • a per-camera note that coax cameras need a DVR/capture card (no direct RTSP/ONVIF stream),
  • ensure the Frigate / RTSP reference pages exclude analog cleanly (they can't be streamed directly).
