Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by reading the linked floating-point comparison write-up and proposal P0533R8, then inspect open pull request #814 and the ccmath implementation around constexpr std::nexttoward. Done means improving float-distance comparison performance and addressing that remaining ccmath outlier.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement

From this write up float distance could be several times better. I can poke around when implementing constexpr std::nexttoward as that is the last outlier in ccmath from this proposal.
