Research direction

Start by locating the code that updates leaderboard rank and points after answering a question, then compare it with the update triggered by clicking next question. Verify the statistics are refreshed immediately after an answer and that the displayed rank and points remain correct before moving on.

Description

Since there isn’t a screen you can go to where you can just pause (although I guess you could just let the points tick down but that doesn’t feel intuitive), if you want to stop playing but check your leaderboard rank (or points) first, there isn’t a great way of doing it. The closest to a pause (and also where a user is probably most likely to stop playing) is after answering but the leaderboard rank only updates after clicking next question. Having the statistics update after answering a question would help this.
