Research direction

Start with archinstall/lib/hardware.py at the linked section and inspect the WM/Desktop profile handling for niri, river, GNOME, and KDE. Compare their seat-access behavior and installed Xorg libraries; done means niri avoids an unnecessary prompt, river has the expected prompt, and Wayland profiles no longer install the unintended Xorg dependencies.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

niri should not ask for seat access since they directly depend on seatd
river on the other hand should have a seat access prompt it's currently missing :)

They also still install xorg libs https://github.com/archlinux/archinstall/blob/97dd099c0e19665c08e4b628d271d46f2d3c2d6f/archinstall/lib/hardware.py#L85 which is not intended behavior for newer wayland standards (GNOME, KDE, etc would be the same issue) ~Adds about 130 pkgs of bloat
