Research direction

Start by finding the JavaScript code that serializes date-range searches into URLs and handles the | delimiter. Use the example search URL to verify that an alternative representation remains shareable in JIRA while preserving both date bounds and the search term.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

When trying to share a search that includes a date range it will have the | character, which does not play nice with JIRA. For example, https://lists.apache.org/[email protected]:dfr=2022-5-4|dto=2022-5-31:ZKEventListenerThread will break the link on the | character.

Would be nice to support an alternative character there.
