Research direction

Start in the named entry point, client/src/App.jsx, and check how the navbar currently indicates online status. Add the global offline banner there using the online/offline events described in the issue. Done when the banner appears while offline and disappears after reconnecting.

Description

good first issue

Show offline banner when internet disconnects 📶

File: client/src/App.jsx

App has online/offline indicator in navbar 💀
But no full banner warning when offline fr!!

Fix: add global offline banner in App.jsx:
const [isOnline, setIsOnline] = useState(navigator.onLine)

useEffect(() => {
window.addEventListener('online', () => setIsOnline(true))
window.addEventListener('offline', () => setIsOnline(false))
}, [])

{!isOnline && (

📶 You're offline — changes won't be saved until you reconnect! )}

~10 lines! App.jsx is clean new file 🎯
No backend needed!!
