Description
On macOS with Chrome 155, dictations pasted into any text box on a web page often insert nothing. The first paste after a page loads works; later ones fail. Chrome's address bar and native apps are fine. It happens in incognito too.
Cause (Chromium, not Hex): Chrome 155 added a check that skips the default paste if the clipboard changed during the paste (CL 8217390). On macOS, an app that writes to NSPasteboard and immediately posts ⌘V trips a race in Chrome's clipboard code, so Chrome thinks the clipboard changed and drops the insertion. The page's paste event still sees the right text, but beforeinput gets empty data and nothing is inserted. Chromium fixed this on main (CL 8503629, issue 568453825), but the fix isn't in 155 or 156 and should reach stable with 157.
Possible workaround in Hex (untested): when the frontmost app is a Chromium browser, wait about 100–250 ms after writing the pasteboard before posting ⌘V. src/paste.rs currently posts it right away.
Repro: macOS, Chrome 155.0.8059.82, Hex with clipboard paste, dictate into a plain <textarea> several times in a row.
