Research direction

Reproduce the intermittent failure using the reported steps: dictate repeatedly into a Chrome form in toggle mode, then try auto mode. Start by reviewing the attached Fluid.log.zip and tracing the dictation-to-paste path; done means successive dictations are consistently pasted in the reported scenario.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

bug
Describe the bug

I have FluidVoice set to toggle mode so that I can turn on the dictation and turn it off, and I have also used auto mode and the issue happens there too.

Basically, sometimes I will do a dictation and it will work and I can see it decoding all my text and then when I hit the toggle so that it pastes my text, nothing gets pasted. Some will work and some won't work, one right after another, so there's no time in between me doing the dictations, but some of them are pasting and some of them are not.

I am mostly seeing this in Chrome, I can't remember if I'm seeing it in other apps.

Reproduction steps
  1. Open FluidVoice
  2. Open Chrome
  3. Dictate into a text box in a form (on GitHub). Do multiple dictations, using toggle or auto mode.
  4. Sometimes the dictations paste, sometimes they don't
Expected behavior

Dictation should always be pasted

Actual behavior

Some dictations are pasted, some just sort of disappear / nothing happens (even though it detected my speech while dictating)
