Research direction

The bug is in recipes/java/Xenv.java at line 48, where the passphrase variable name is upper-cased without a locale. Start by running the recipe with -Duser.language=tr and the env set to production to see the mangled key XENV_KEY_PRODUCTION becomes. Done when that line uses a locale-independent upper-case (the issue suggests Locale.ROOT) and the lookup under the Turkish locale matches the expected key.

Description

bug

Files: recipes/java/Xenv.java:48

Repro: Run the recipe under -Duser.language=tr and env production. The lookup is XENV_KEY_PRODUCT\u0130ON, not XENV_KEY_PRODUCTION.

Fix: Use toUpperCase(Locale.ROOT).
