Description

Require Customer
Summary

Per-agent pause denies later tool calls. Halt stops the agent at the next hook. The delivery pause holds queued chat, and launch clears it while SHOW_DELIVERY_SWITCH is false. Close Office runs closing time.

None of these hold new SMTP sends and new webhook dispatches for the whole office while the cards stay in place. A send already inside sendMail() is not stopped by a later flag.

Why this matters

The owner needs one control that means new mail and new webhook work wait, without stopping the agents and without dropping the queue.

Change

Add one control named "Pause outgoing".

While it is on:

  • Do not start a new SMTP send or a new standing send.
  • Do not dispatch a new webhook task.
  • Keep cards on Needs you.
  • A send already in sendMail() must finish, or stay sending under #101.
  • Do not stop agents. Do not clear the queue.

Persist the flag. A restart must not forget the pause and must not send the queue.

On resume, send a card that is still approved only after mailAccess() passes again. Other cards stay waiting.

Test plan
  • During the pause, a Can send call does not call SMTP and stays queued.
  • An in-flight send is not deleted.
  • After resume, one approved card sends once.
  • A restart during the pause does not send the queue.
Depends on

#101, so the pause does not create a second uncertain send.
