Research direction

Start by reading the VPN connection and notification reports in the issue thread, then trace the Android VPN service and its tunnel or routing setup. Compare behavior while connected and disconnected, and check whether push notification traffic is excluded or routed differently. Done means affected push notifications arrive while FoxyVPN is connected, with the behavior confirmed on a reproducible device and network setup.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

When FoxyVPN is connected, some push notifications do not arrive on the device.
As soon as I disconnect the VPN, the missing notifications start arriving.
This does not happen with other VPNs (for example Psiphon works normally).
