Research direction

Start by locating the PostgreSQL connection setup and how Tabularis currently sets the schema search_path; the issue does not name specific files or tests. Check whether the driver can read the server's configured path and how connection-specific overrides are represented. Done means new connections preserve the configured path and append the selected schema, with a way to override this per connection.

🚀 Feature Proposal

tabularis should query the search path on a new connection and then use that, with the selected schema appended on the end. Maybe Ideally there would be a way to define or override that behaviour with a connection specific search_path rather than the one defined in postgresql.conf

Motivation

I use tabularis for postgresql and a real pain point is the schema search_path being set by tabularis. This means that to run queries where any object definition is not in the current schema I need to write something like "set search_path to public, analyst; select * from whatever;" and then run as a selection and open the second tab.
