Research direction

Start in Build/Scripts/runTests.sh and find the branch that handles -s clean, then check which paths it removes compared with where the functional run writes its instances, .Build/public/typo3temp/var/tests/functional-*. Reproduce by running -s functional, then -s clean, and listing that directory. Done when no functional-* directories remain after clean and the other cleanup targets still behave as before.
