Research direction

Start with the failed control-image job in run 38532573934 (linked from the issue) to see why it failed, since control-acceptance and control-promote were skipped. The issue names three acceptance legs: an empty DB, a broken NodeType row, and the previous control version on the migrated DB, and the pod's /health body and log tail are the evidence to read. Done when a run promotes a control image and the issue closes itself.

Description

bug control-image sev:M

The control image lane failed on main: run 38532573934, commit 023cdf90c9443178d6b14835778a12eaf5a2ec5f — control-image=failure, control-acceptance=skipped, control-promote=skipped.

No new memex-control version was promoted. The fleet's own delivery (memex-portal-ai) is NOT affected — this lane is outside it by design. A red control-acceptance names its leg and carries the pod's /health body and log tail: (a) empty DB, (b) broken NodeType row, (c) the previous control version on this run's migrated DB. This issue closes itself when a run promotes a control image.
