Research direction

Start by finding the Settings search implementation and the entry for Subtitle preview properties under Video player. Add “Alignment” as a search term for that setting, then check that searching for both “Alignment” and “Preview” finds it and that the setting still opens correctly.

Description

I somehow caused all my subtitles to be aligned to the Bottom-Right and had trouble finding the setting to change it back to Bottom-Middle.

Since I often use right click > Alignment, I did a search for "Alignment" in Settings but nothing was found. Eventually chatGPT helped me find it by searching for "Preview" which brought me to the right place:

Subtitle Edit > Settings > Video player > Subtitle preview properties

I recommend adding "Alignment" as a search term in Settings
