Research direction

Start by tracing how Subtitle Edit loads and styles a second subtitle file, then compare that path with the original subtitle file's font and typography settings. The request is to let each file keep independent settings, especially for different languages; define the required settings and where they should be configured before estimating implementation. Done when changing the second file's font does not alter the original file's typography.

Description

Hello,

Could you please consider adding the option to set a separate font for the second subtitle file?

The idea is to allow each subtitle file to have its own font and typography settings, independently of the original subtitle file. This would be particularly useful when working with different languages, such as Arabic and French or English, as they often require different fonts for optimal readability and proper rendering.

For example, I would like to use one font for the Arabic subtitles and another for the French or English subtitles, without affecting the original file's font settings.

The attached picture illustrates the requested feature.

Thank you for considering this request!
