Research direction

Start by tracing the existing volume-setting flow and the hello-message and reconnect handling described in the issue. Implement a way to enable or disable volume control, including disconnecting and sending the updated hello message on reconnect; verify both enabled and disabled behavior.

Description

enhancement

Some devices want to skip Sendspin volume control; i.e., TOSLink output to an amp whose volume is controlled externally. sendspin-cpp should easily support enabling and disabling the volume setting (which requires disconnecting and updating the hello message on server reconnect).
