Research direction

No files or tests are named; first, locate the horse-riding input handling and trace how W, A/D, and E affect movement. Agree on the intended key behavior before changing it, then verify that steering responds consistently while W is held and that spurring uses the chosen key.

The idea

When riding a horse with mouse and keyboard controls, steering feels stiff while holding W. If I hold W and press A or D to steer, the horse turns only slowly and doesn’t respond the way I’d expect from the game. If I release W and use only A or D, the horse turns normally.

While riding, W could be used for a different function or be disabled completely. For example, W could be ignored for steering, so A/D always give the full sideways input, whether W is held or not. Alternatively, W could be mapped to something else while riding.

Currently, E is used to spur the horse on. It might be more comfortable to bind this to Shift instead, or to swap Shift and E while riding, so the spurring key is easier to press together with A/D.

These are just my ideas. Maybe someone has a better idea?
