Research direction

Start by opening the attached reproduction project, then inspect how AnimationTree applies animation tracks when their animation clip rows are disabled or removed. Reproduce the reported speed_scale and sprite scale values in link.tscn with the AnimationPlayer, and compare the behavior with the RESET animation. Done means disabled or deleted tracks no longer set those properties unexpectedly.

Issue description

Like I said in my previous issue, I made my animations set its own speed_scale and the sprite's scale.x to try to do a specific animation.

Now that I have disabled those animation clip rows it just sets the animation speed_scale to 0 and the sprite scale to 0,0

I also checked the RESET animation and have also tried completely removed those animation clip rows.

It still does it.

Steps to reproduce
  • Download the project
  • Open link.tscn
  • Clip on the AnimationPlayer Node
  • Try to play walk-left-fast or default animation.
Minimal reproduction project (MRP)

This one I tried to use two separate idle animations one at -0.5 and one at +0.5 so when it was 0.0 it wouldn't do anything...
Sadly at 0.0 it defaults to -0.5
