Research direction

Start by reproducing item creation through QuickStatements and compare it with the later edit or statement-addition path that currently triggers Automated Values. Trace where rules are applied during item creation; done means creating an item with its statements through QuickStatements applies the automated values without requiring a follow-up change.

Description

enhancement

Currently Automated Values does not run when you create an item via quickstatements, meaning that you have to create and item with all it statements, and than touch the item again (e.g. by making a change or adding a statement) before automated values kicks in.
