Locate the file-picker code that scans directories and filters MIDI filenames by extension. First reproduce the issue on Linux with both .MID and .mid files, then inspect how extensions are compared. Done means MIDI files are visible regardless of extension casing without breaking the existing picker behavior.

Description
I have a folder with lots of different MIDI files collected from everywhere. Some of them have capitalized filenames and extensions, eg CANYON.MID, while others are lowercase, eg ForestTemple.mid. Only the latter are visible in the file picker. The file picker should be case-insensitive when it scans directories for pickable files.
This happens on my Linux system. It's possible it doesn't happen in Windows because that's a case-insensitive OS, but it likely happens in macOS as well because like Linux it's case-sensitive.
