Research direction

Start at the Microsimulation.df method and reproduce the reported KeyError with sim.df("state_code"). Determine whether the method should accept a single column name or report the argument problem more clearly; done means the single-string case behaves consistently and has coverage for the reported example.

Description

Microsimulation.df requires a list of column names. When passing a single string instead, it throws:

sim.df("state_code")

KeyError: 's'

Could be more informative or just listify args.
