Suggestions from the 2026-10-07 code review (the long-path behavior is not verified).
- Long paths: the permission calls pass plain paths without a
\\?\prefix, and the helper ships nolongPathAwaremanifest. Propagating the project grant into deepnode_modules/pnpm trees longer than 260 characters may fail or skip entries. Add an integration test with a deep path, and opt in to long paths. - Revoke on the input thread:
serve(native/sandbox-helper/src/win.rs) handlesRevokeon the stdin thread, so a long revoke would delay a kill message sent to the same helper. It's harmless today because revoke helpers are separate processes, but fragile. Move it to a worker thread.
