Research direction

Start by reading the existing model theory basics and the later sections on interpolation, definability, and Lindström's theorem. Done means significantly expanded coverage plus clearer explanations and motivation in the earlier sections, but the issue does not name specific files or tests.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement

The part on model theory has very nice proofs of interpolation/definability and Lindström's theorem, but the earlier sections on basics of model theory have to be expanded significantly, both in terms of coverage and in terms of the presentation of what's already there: much more explanation and motivation.
