Research direction

This is a self-recommendation of EdgeSSH for the OpenGithubs weekly digest, not a code change in that repo. Read the weekly repository README and any contribution or submission guidelines to see how featured projects are selected and listed. Done means the maintainers have accepted or declined the listing; there is no named file or test for a first-time contributor to edit.
