Research direction

Start from the Tearing module's coupled dispersion relation in the Julia code and from the RMATCH chain referenced in PrincetonUniversity/GPEC#210 in the Fortran code. Pick one resistive case, run it through both codes, and compare the matched quantities. Done means a written comparison that either confirms parity or names a specific gap, which then becomes its own FEATURE or BUGFIX issue. Coordinate with #591 and #623 first, since the scope depends on them.

Description

test

Fortran GPEC's resistive singular coupling goes through the RMATCH chain (PrincetonUniversity/GPEC#210). Julia's Tearing module has the coupled dispersion relation, but the #591 survey could not confirm parity with the RMATCH chain.

Scope: run one resistive case through both codes and compare the matched quantities. File a FEATURE or BUGFIX for any gap found. This goes with #623.

Feature-parity item from the Fortran GPEC 1.6.0 survey in #591; filed so it is tracked once #591 closes.
